TRU TECH introduced the Revolution, the newest addition to its centerless universal 3 axis grinders.
The Revolution represents years of research and customer input, implementing new ergonomics and sight-lines. Fully enclosed and capable of coolant flows of 55 liters per minute, it achieves the fastest plunge rates ever available on a TRU TECH machine, while allowing 100 degrees of workpiece access.
The newly design reinforced base provides unsurpassed rigidity and with the optional integrated sonic gaging, repeatable sub-micron accuracy is more acheivable than ever before.
Harig Surface Grinder Line Moves To Michigan
TRU TECH Systems is moving its Harig Precision Surface Grinder line to Michigan.
Citing the need for increased efficiencies in a historically challenging economy, TRU TECH Systems began moving its Harig by TRU TECH precision surface grinder product line to its existing facilities in Mt. Clemens. Spare parts manufacturing and sales will be moved to the same location.
The company expects that it will see some delays during the transition from its existing facility in Elgin, Illinois. The company will likely cut some machine models from the Harig product line-up, but is confident the changes will ensure that existing and new customers will continue to experience the quality and service-after-the-sale for which Harig is known.
In 1942, Thorton Mechanical Laboratories began manufacturing the first commercial surface grinder. The design was later acquired and refined by Harig Products, Inc. TRU TECH Systems acquired the company in November of 2002. With over 50 years of experience and more than 45,000 machines in the field, the Harig name has become synonymous with the term Surface Grinder.
